Metal stapling.

Our company Maulini Angelo in Orta San Giulio (No), produces copper and steel floating spheres. The copper spheres are the result of the union of two hemispheres, female and male, which in a first step are tied together through the process of stapling.
It is a handicraft work performed manually with the help of the lathe: the edges of the female hemisphere are closed around the male hemisphere and stapled.
This process is only valid for copper spheres. The steel spheres, on the other hand, are sealed by TIG welding with the fusion of the edges of the two hemispheres, because the ends are shaved in the same way and there is no "male and female".
Copper and steel spheres are one of our main products: contact us for more information.
